Disc 1 is a rarely available early acoustic radio show, Brucebase has an interesting note on this set:

"Broadcast by Richmond's WGOE-FM live via remote hook-up from an actual recording studio - the only time Springsteen ever did it this way (all other radio shows were merely recorded inside the DJ broadcast room). WGOE paid for the studio time. Besides the WGOE DJ, the small audience heard inside the studio with the band includes Mike Appel, Jim Cretecos and David Sancious! After the show Mike Appel took possession of the Master Tape."

Disc 2 is from that evenings show at the Richmond Coliseum in support of Chicago. Interesting that David Sancious was present at that afternoons radio broadcast but did not start playing live with the band until the 22nd of June (that year). The songs available are not the full set played that night, other songs that may have been played could have included Spirit.., seaside bar song, Phantoms amongst others.
